  Co-op a new beginning.....
The week of August 6, 2012

Today we started our first week of our new
Co-op at Lee Park.  We are so excited!  Will say at this point a little nervous about the curriculum being at higher grade level but, we will get though it.  This is our first year with co-op.  We will see if this is for us.  When you homeschool you have to find what works for your family and what does not.  But the main thing is you have to be willing to try LOTS of new things to get there.

The boys loved learning about the different animals that were created and how they have evolved from there.   We all took time to flip through the Zoology curriculum and I think we all got excited.  I know this will be their favorite subject.

Next we started our Ancient History for co-op.  It started at creation and we will work our way through.  The boys loved it.  So did Mom.  We will be time lining and learning about prophets, Kings, and all aspects of the Bible.

First Day of School 20012-2013

Jacob 10, 4th grade
First Day of School-2012-2013
August 6, 2012

Here we sit another school year!  Looking forward to seeing how they grow this year.  Thinking of all the possibilities of what is to come.  Today is our favorite day!  Brainstorm day.  The boys get to tell their teacher (me) what THEY want to learn about.  I LOVE the number one item on both of their list....To learn about GOD!
Adam 6, 1st grade
So here we go, got to hang on and enjoy the ride.

This is the start of our brain storming session

Maybe one day Adam will give me a smile about school.  He says he doesn't like school.  But I know better.  He just did not want to stop his summer vacation.

Their list separate and together

Election Day 2012

ELECTION DAY

November 6, 2012

Here we are ready and waiting.  We took our US Map today and listed the states and electoral votes.  Now tonight we will be coloring in the red and blue states as the results come in.  Both of them will be adding up the electoral votes and hopefully we will have a winner before midnight tonight.  We are treating this like a movie night with popcorn and soda!  Let's see what tonight will bring for our country.
